Activities

We have a highly experienced Activities Coordinator who will discuss your preferences and will involve you in activities that you will enjoy. However, you do not have to take part if you feel like you don't want to and you are more than welcome to stay in your room or the quiet lounge when there are such things going on.

We routinely invite entertainers to the home to stimulate and involve our residents and that may be a singer to a puppet show to a panto. During these times, we welcome relatives and friends to come in and involve themselves in the entertainment.

Unique to Astley Grange is Social night we hold once a month. This is arranged by staff on a voluntary basis and we have different foods and activities, such as a "fish & chips" evening or a "Play your Cards Right" evening.

The residents enjoy the interaction and it keeps the mind stimulated.
