We are committed to creating an environment that is secure, relaxed and homely. As a team we believe in caring for our Residents as individuals, recognising their spiritual, social and psychological needs as well as their physical needs.

We will work in partnership with our residents, maintain the dignity and respect of our residents and allow them the right to make choices in relation their care.

The staff will provide privacy, protect dignity and maintain appropriate ability in the independence of each resident. We will respect confidentiality that is our privilege to share.

About us:

With over 20 years' experience, the management of Astley Grange pride themselves on offering a highly professional care service for the elderly, with a personal touch. They are pleased to accept residents for long term, short term for respite, convalescence and holiday stay.

PRIVACY The right of a resident to be left alone and undisturbed whenever they wish.
DIGNITY The understanding of a residents needs and treating them with respect.
INDEPENDENCE Allowing a resident to take calculated risks, to make their own decisions and think and act for themselves.
CHOICE Giving a resident the opportunity to select for themselves from a range of alternative options.
RIGHTS Keeping all basic human rights available to the residents.
FULFILMENT Enabling the resident to realise their own aims and helping them to achieve these goals in all aspects of daily living.

CQC Inspection Details -     Good

The CQC make sure the Health & Social care sector services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care. They monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and publish what they find, including performance ratings to help people choose care.

There are four ratings that are given to health and social care services: outstanding, good, requires improvement and inadequate.

Outstanding

The service is performing exceptionally well.

Good

The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.

Requires improvement

The service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.

Inadequate

The service is performing badly and we've taken action against the person or organisation that runs it.

Independent Review:

Over2You is a project funded by the Department of Health, focusing on improving the quality of health and social care services. The aim of the project is to empower customers to give feedback to their service provider so that their service provider can make improvements to their service. Over2You quality questionnaires are coordinated by trained Over2You volunteers who are passionate about making a positive different to the quality of health and care services.
